City of Bucharest Public Transport Reform (2004-5)

This European Bank for Reconstruction and Development-funded project involved conducting a comprehensive operational analysis of the Regia Autonoma de Transport Bucuresti (RATB) bus/trolley/tram system to identify and assess options to obtain the "best value" in the delivery of public transport services. Seneca assessed RATB's operational and financial performance in relation to industry benchmarks, identified and evaluated practical organizational and financing options for the delivery of public transport services and drew up an implementation plan and schedule for the City's preferred option.
